Travel

I've been fortunate to travel in the past six weeks. Northern Saskatchewan for dogsledding; San Francisco for sunshine and cable cars; the Rocky Mountains for skiing and gazing at the awesome landscape of Lake Louise.
While away, I've gotten used to almost forgetting about everything at home. It's a practised thing of course, since I'm wildly responsible and probably overly concerned about what happens when I'm absent from the post. To refresh and revitalize though, it's become necessary to just let it go.
So far, no terrible crises have occurred and, except for the few days of mayhem when I get back, all is manageable.
To be continued. There's a dog that begs walking.
